The workshop consists of two phases:
1. Physical and vocal training
The first part involves an articular, facial and vocal warm-up that aims to
connect with the vibrations that the body can generate. Through movements of stimulation and vocal techniques, participants will explore the expressive and perceptive potential of the body.
2. Moon dances
The second part introduces lunar dances from the book The Thirteen Moons by Luisa Francia. These sequences, handed down by witches from different geographical points, rediscover the historical memory of the cult of the mother goddess and the human connection with natural cycles, such as the lunar cycle. The thirteen mythical figures explored include fairies, witches from the Dolomites and Mediterranean sibyls.
The choice of dance proposed during the workshop depends on the lunar phase in which it takes place. This approach allows one to immerse oneself in ancient knowledge, which was once a guide for community life.
