Martina is an Italian multimedia artist. She works between Rome, Berlin and Salento, where she actually lives. She completed a Master's degree at RUFA in 2023 where she continued as a teaching assistant. Her artistic research starts from the reinterpretation of female rituals and popular traditions of the Mediterranean. Through experimentation with different media, she explores the gesturality of the body about sound to deconstruct unconscious systems of action and open a field of action free from hierarchical and exclusionary structures. She has presented works for Roma Europa Festival, Biennale di Venezia Teatro, Re-humanism, Videocittà, Dancity Festival, Museo Civico di Viterbo and others.
