This work is the result of research that aims to give voice to the most unconscious and primitive part of the human body and mind. Through continuous monitoring of brain waves, it is observed how percussion is able to alter our psychophysical state.

The subject brought to the stage is a Tarantata from Salento, a woman who wants to escape from all abuse and social oppression. To take back her freedom, she undergoes the Taranta ritual in which she dances wildly to the rhythm of the tambourine until she completely loses her strength.
